Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, established in the year 1995 by MJF.Ln.Leo Muthu, Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust, is a non-profitable and a non-minority institution. A well-defined vision, highly committed mission and a dedicated leadership facilitate Sri Sairam Engineering College to be in the best of educational institutions in the country. Since its inception, the institution has grown into a vast conglomerate of magnificent buildings, state-of-the art laboratories, sophisticated internet centres, modern digital library block and a superlative sports complex, each a land mark in itself across 300 acres. The institution is situated in a sprawling campus with architecturally and aesthetically designed buildings, blocks, stadiums, auditoriums, hostels, gymnasium and the sports grounds. The institution is affiliated to Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Imbibed with the message of Shridi Saibaba, our Chairman ventured into the realm of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students from Tamilnadu as well as from other states, offering a flexible and real world based learning approach and global ambience in pursuing education.

Sri Sairam Institute of Management, also a unit of Sri Sairam Engineering College, was established in the year 1997 and it offers MBA programme. Our Chairman has not only stopped with his vision of providing Technical Education but has also ventured into the fields of medical sciences, by starting Medical Colleges for Indian Medicine namely Siddha, Ayurvedha & Homeopathy. He was also instrumental in starting “The Academy for Blind” and “Home for the aged” under the community service programmes of the Lions Club.
